I 1908 i London var for første gangen innendørs tennis på programmet. Damene fikk også lov å delta igjen. Det ble konkurrert om seks olympiske titler, fire for herrer, single og double inne og ute og to for damene, singel inne og ute. Det var 50 tennisspillere, 40 herrer og 10 damer fra 10 nasjoner som deltok.
