Brancaleone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) southwest of Catanzaro and about 65 kilometres (40 mi) southeast of Reggio Calabria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,923 and an area of 35.9 square kilometres (13.9 sq mi).
